Pre-Op Medical Clearance

In order to receive pre-op clearance from BMPW, you generally need:

- Blood pressure cuff, A digital thermometer, a fingertip oxygen sensor, or a pulse oximeter for the visit.

- Laboratories that you will need or may need, we will follow your surgeon's request:

• Complete blood count (CBC)

• Complete metabolic profile (CMP)

• Prothrombin time (PT)

• International normalized ratio (INR)

• A list of your current medications (prescription and over-the-counter)

If your surgeon hasn't already given you orders for these tests, we can provide them for you. You can do them at our trusted laboratories or come to the office, and we will do them for you at a price.
